Service

Web & Mobile Applications

We design and ship applications people use on their phones in the field and on laptops at their desks. We’ve taken our own apps through App Store review, so we know the whole path from first build to live listing.

The problem

What this solves

If any of these sound familiar, this is the right page.

  • Customers or staff need the tool on their phone, not just a desktop browser
  • A web product needs an App Store presence without maintaining two codebases
  • An existing app is slow, hard to use on mobile, or stuck in review
What we deliver

Solutions we build

Web applications

Fast, accessible applications that work on every screen size, built on modern, well-supported frameworks.

iPhone apps

iOS apps built on a shared web codebase, with native sign-in, push notifications and App Store submission handled end to end.

Installable web apps

Progressive web apps that install to the home screen and keep working on a weak connection.

Payments & subscriptions

Checkout, subscriptions and payouts through providers such as Stripe and Square, built to the App Store’s rules where they apply.

Our product · Bracketfield

A tournament in everyone’s pocket

Bracketfield, our youth tournament app, runs a weekend end to end. Directors build pools and brackets on a laptop; umpires post scores from a QR slip on the field; families follow their team on their phones without making an account.

  • Web app and iPhone app from one codebase
  • Push alerts when a game time or field changes
  • Version 1.1 released on the App Store October 26, 2026

The foundry process

How a project runs

Every project moves through the same five stages, whether it’s a single integration or a full records system. You see working software early and often.

  1. 01

    Discover

Every great creation starts with an idea.

We examine the challenge, understand the opportunity, and establish what needs to be built.

  2. 02

    Shape

    Ideas need structure.

We architect the technology, plan its components, define the experience, and create the foundation.

  3. 03

    Forge

This is where the work takes form.

We engineer the application, integrate the systems, develop the functionality, and turn architecture into working software.

  4. 04

    Refine

Precision separates a prototype from a product.

We test, secure, optimize, and improve the solution.

  5. 05

    Deliver & Evolve

Built for use. Designed to grow.

We deploy the finished solution and keep supporting it as it evolves.

Questions

Common questions

Do we need a separate iPhone app and website?

Often not. We can build one web application and ship it to the App Store as well, so there is one codebase to maintain.

Can you handle App Store submission?

Yes. We have taken our own apps through App Store review, including the rules around payments and sign-in.

Will it work on Android?

The web application works in any modern phone browser. A native Android build is possible; we will tell you whether your audience needs one.

Can you take over an app someone else built?

Often. We start with a review of the code and hosting, then tell you plainly what we would keep, fix or rebuild.

Next step

Have an idea worth building?

Bring us the challenge. We’ll help shape the solution. You’ll hear back from the engineer who would build it, not a sales team.
